62-63, “Plants without flowers (ferns, lichens, moss),” from How Nature Works. Write a short science
report on one of the topics covered in the section. Complete project/activity
and record results of any experiments.
Science Activity: Take a hike to
Laughing Whitefish waterfalls and use the “Linnaeus Wildflower Challenge” to
learn how a botanist looks at different wildflowers. Try growing ferns from spores (late spring-early summer)
